Mepco entered in its first green field project in 2001 with PM1 sourced from Over Meccania with a finished reel Width of 250cm running at a speed of 800m/min.
 

The machine initially produced 65,000Mt, but capacity has been enhanced to 120,000Mt. with expansionary work carried out in EARLY 2003.

Currently MEPCO has commissioned another machine: PM2 having a capacity of 180,000Mt./yr.
